Throughout his career, writer and director Nick Lyon has repeatedly returned to the horror genre. His previous body of work includes films such as Species: The Awakening, Zombie Apocalypse, and Isle of the Dead, all of which have been high concept and action driven. His new film, Do You Want to Play?, takes a different approach as Lyon shows things down to tell a chilling possession story.

The Ouija board has been a horror staple for decades, but Do You Want to Play? gives the familiar ritual a distinctly modern twist by replacing the wooden planchette with a smartphone app.

Over the weekend, “Extra" editor Sean Olson won big at Geena Davis' Bentonville Film Festival.

Olson was honored with the Best of Fest award for “F.R.E.D.I.," a film he directed.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Sean shared onstage, “Oh, my God, I'm so shocked!”

"F.R.E.D.I." made its world premiere at this year's Bentonville Film Festival and secured the coveted Best of the Fest award.

Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival, which champions women and diverse voices in media, on Saturday announced its 2018 award winners.

The ceremony was hosted by The Real’s Loni Love, and presenters included festival co-founders Davis and Trevor Drinkwater and actress Stephanie Beatriz, with performances by Martina McBride and the Latin X Theater Project.

F.R.E.D.I. was filmed at many of Bentonville’s iconic sites.
